RUSSELLVILLE — The Russellville Lady Indians had a pair of 21-point quarters Monday, cruising to a 71-42 victory against Bunceton/Prairie Home to start the season.

The Lady Indians led 21-10 after one quarter, 35-18 at halftime and 56-32 through three quarters.

Hallee Stewart scored a team-best 21 points for Russellville, while Ella Volkart finished with 16 points and five assists. K’Lea Basnett also reached double figures with 12 points.

Russellville (1-0) returns to action next week in the Eugene Tournament. The fourth-seeded Lady Indians open against fifth-seeded Linn in the first round at 8:30 p.m. next Monday.
