Manchester City have reportedly made Julian Alvarez their priority in their upcoming round of contract talks with the senior team.
According to the Mirror, the Argentine international is first in line to be awarded a new deal as City look to tie down their most frequent players this season to improved contracts, with Alvarez impressing in his first year in England.
The 23-year-old attacker signed for the Manchester giants last year and officially joined up with City in the summer, where Alvarez has been a prolific forward for Pep Guardiola’s side as well as a great backup for Erling Haaland.
